The Division of Geography and Resource Management at Chinese University of Hong Kong provides several postgraduate programmes for advanced academic and research training in the field of Geography and Resource Management.
Students can pursue studies in the following areas: Spatial data analysis and mining, Remote sensing image analysis, Spatial modeling, Virtual geographical environment, Ecosystem biogeochemistry and global change, Applied geomorphology, Climate change and watershed hydrology, Forest resource and ecosystem management, Resource management, Tourism and sustainable tourism, Energy and environmental policies, Urbanization and migration analysis, Production of space and place governance, Urban and regional development/governance in China, Sustainable development in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.

Entry Requirements:
In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should have had a basic training in their undergraduate studies in Geography or other appropriate subjects. Each applicant must submit a research proposal. PhD applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Geography or related fields and submit his/her master thesis or academic papers.
